I just bought a used PT145 millenium and after putting 250 rounds of CCI blazer through it the spring that holds the takedown lever in broke into two pieces, causing the pistol to refuse to return to battery after each round fired as the takedown lever locked the slide. Does anyone have any experience with a problem like this? I also noticed that when i slowly squeezed the trigger about 1/3 of the time I got a failure to fire. I checked the primers and each time they had a very noticeable dent from the firing pin.

I really liked this little pistol, I shot pretty well with it up until this.

clean your firing pin

CCI primers are frequently reported to be very hard.

I've had several FTFs with WWB in my PT-111 PRO (They always go bang on the second strike though.)

swithced to Remington UMC for plinking.

Never had a FTF with defense ammo. (Remington Golden Sabre and Winchester JHPs)
