Public pistol range in Dallas/FW area?

First, I'm a brand new member here. Great site! Tons of great info.

I'm going to be doing some business travel to the Dallas/FW area from MA several times over the next couple of months, and was interested in doing some shooting in my free time. Not that it really matters, but I have a class A LTC with no restrictions in MA.

Can someone recommend a public range that might also rent handguns? I'd prefer not to travel with one, so renting would be ideal.

Try the Winchester Gallery in Fort Worth, or the Bullet Trap in Plano (a suburb of Dallas). Both rent guns and are nice indoor places to shoot. They won't give a hoot about your Mass license, as it's irrelevant here, they'll just want your drivers license.

Enjoy your visit...I lived in Boston for all of 2006 and could not leave fast enough!

DFW gunrange is an indoor range with the biggest selection of rental pistols I know of in the area.

There is also Targetmaster in Garland. They aren't as busy as Bullet Trap and are slightly better in my opinion.
