Lesson learned was when trying to measure something to establish a baseline, don't change anything!!!!
 
I see what you are saying now... and, yes, I agree that was likely the change.

Sometimes, particularly when loading a new cartridge, or a significantly different bullet, you have to make changes on the fly. It can show up in your ballistics, however.
 
Good news is I now have an excuse to load and shoot em again.

Also gives me more confidence in outcome of my ladder loads, as nothing changed on those but the powder charge.
