Putting together my wish list

I am currently putting together my wish list of weapons to try to buy before the end of the year. I know that there are a lot of different threads out there, most of which include "buy a glock". I would like to not only have a practical collection, but a well rounded collection. I would like to keep the price of each to about $800, but I am a little flexible. Reliability is a must, IMHO what good is an unreliable weapon?

The weapons I would like are:

a .357 Mag revolver
a 1911
and a 9mm

I already have a SIG PRO 2340 for HD, and love it. More looking for less common, but still great quality weapons.

As in specifically, before the next POTUS gets sworn in and the brief bright hour of hope after Heller fades?

$800 each should get you about anything you want in at least 9mm and .357.

Yes, not that I would have any reason to believe that ANYONE would try to infringe upon our 2A rights

For .357, try an S&W N frame.

IMO the model 27, and 28 are a good addition to any collection. There not as common as some other models, and their built like a tank. I love the look and feel of my 28-2 Highway Patrolman. I'd like to find a nice 27-2 in stainless or nickel (not sure which one is available) to go with it.
You should be able to find either one in like new condition for well under $800.
Just my 2 cents.

BTW, three by the end of the year, I'm jealous.

Get the EMP and kill 2 birds with 1 stone. 9mm 1911. And it is sooooo purdy!!!!!!!!!

I have in .357 mag.. S&W model 686, 586, and 27.. Whether they are Nickel, Blue or Stainless.. 6 inch or 8 3/8.. They are all shooters..That I intend to pass on after I am gone.
