Given that little tidbit of information, I'll second BCRider's advice about the S&W Model 28. The only difference I know of between the 27 and the 28 is the finish - and the price.
I have Model 27s and Pythons. Should I be forced to start selling off my accumulation, the Pythons will go long before the 27s (or my lone 28). I have a no-dash Model 27 that will be the last to go - I'm considering being buried with it.
