Years ago, I bought seven (7) heavy cloth material rifle socks at one of the Knoxville TN fun shows. They are really thick, two sided cloth that looks like car seat cloth and they were $7.00 each. I would like to find more as my surplus rifle collection has grown past the 7 cases.

Any idea's gents?

I've been happy with Midway's store-branded knit silicone-treated stocks, but they are not as thick as what you describe.

Check out Borestores rugs. I'm a big fan.
I have one of those from somewhere.............WAY too thick to use in the safe whereas the silicone socks help prevent safe dings as well as protect from rust

Do an internet search for "Ace Case"...They are 3 for $20.

I have about a dozen of those rifle sleeves and a pile of their pistol rugs. You used to be able to get them from gun shows for as little as 5 bucks each. If the story I got was correct, they are made from remnants of auto upholstery.

The ACE pistols rugs I bought at the Shotgun news Show in Reno decades ago are still going strong and were cheap (in price, not quality); mine were suede

Since ColtPython and I haven't made good pistol rug choices George, do you have any suggestions to offer BCR1 ?
