Question About HK Magazine

I have an HK P2000SK and I don't like the floor plate on the magazine. It has an extended front lip that my pinky tends to want to ride right on top of. I also have a P30 and its mag floor plate does not have that extended part. The P30 floor plate seems to fit the P2000 mag and once installed the front of the floor plate is flush with the grip and much more comfortable. Does anyone know if this fit is ok? It seems so. The odd thing is that the P2000 floor plate won't seat all the way on the P30 magazine. (I'm not concerned about the P30 mag for now.)

HK sells two different floorplates for the p2000 series mags, one flat, one extended.
