I have a friend that has an Italian made .25 auto. The Serial number is
ED 61180-f. I have not actually seen it but he says that it does not have a brand name on it but only says ".25 auto made in italy" or something similar to that. He also says that the grips are wooden, but they may be bakelite. The hammer has a hole through it like a bersa or a beretta. Does anyone here have any idea what manufacturer made this pistol?

The problem I have with your friend's .25 is that most of them are hammerless/striker fired designs. Very few of them utilize an exposed hammer. The only one that comes to mind is the Titan model, made by Tanfoglio of Italy. I think it has also been sold as the Targa Model GT27, here in the U.S.
