Hey, all - I'm going to be in Phoenix next week for Massad Ayoob's LFI-1 class, and I was wondering which shops I should check out? Preference is for stores with a good selection of decent-condition, reasonably-priced, used handguns; I'm especially looking out for snub-nosed .38/.357 revolvers, 3rd-generation S&W autos, 9mm/.40S&W Glocks, and/or .357 lever-action rifles.
Couple of considerations, though:
- I will be in class from 9:00AM to 5:00PM, so any shop I go to should be open until at least 7:00PM to allow for travel time plus a reasonable amount of browsing.
- The shops in question should be located within reasonable driving distance of the Phoenix Rod & Gun club(host range for LFI-1); I'm a bit more familiar with East Valley geography, so anything in Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, etc. gets preferential consideration.
