I recently bought a used pt945..it has wood grips and I would prefer Rubber..it looks like Houge doesn't make them, and the only ones on th Taurus web site are wood or pearl..I already have the wood and as I am NOT a pimp I don't want the pearl:p
Anybody know where I can get some rubber?
BTW ,for me this is the perfect .45...I like the option of C and L or DA.I had a gunsmith cut off the beaver tail because it was beating up my hand(a problem I had w/ 1911's too)now it's a pleasure to shoot. It's my new IDPA gun. Thanks

Try calling Taurus and order them directly. What is the condition of your wood grips? Want to sell them? The pt-945 is nice for the price. the only bone I have with it, is that my thumb rests on the decoker lever when I shot. Sometime when I am not careful, just before I pull the trigger the de-coker get push down, and the gun de-cokes before the trigger releases the hammer. No wonder Beretta moved their decoker/safety lever to the slide.

I'll sell you the wood ones cheap,if I can get the rubber ones. They're in good shape I just don't like wood on a combat gun.I'll keep you in mind..
