Just wondering about the PT945 Series 45acp Taurus? Are they acurate? How do they shoot? I never hear anything BAD about them and just wondering? I have a friend that has one of the Stainless Gold Frilly ones with the pearl grips on it, and he LOVES his. And has put many thousands of rounds through it and NEVER any problems. He Qualified for his CCW permit and has his targets displayed in his office and I'm impressed with the targets. A few look like he cut the orange center plumb out of several with only a FEW Flyers.

I traded for one last week (Stainless) and haven't had a chance to shoot it and just wondering your thoughts on the PT945's?

And does any one make any Wood or Fancy grips for the PT945 or are there any Lasers made for them? And does CTC Grips make em for it?

THANKS!!!!!!!!

Mine won't reliably feed my 200gr cast lead SWC reloads. Never had a problem with any jacketed bullet.

I find the grip is a little too long and narrow for me to shoot well -- it really wants to twist in my hand with each shot.

I think its a pretty good gun but just didn't work out for me as well as I'd hoped when I bought it. If it fits your hand better than it fits mine, I don't see how you couldn't like it.

Thanks For The Reply!

I like the feel of it and have shot one, one other time. And it fits my had better than some. And with the Fake Pearls (My Friends Has The "PIMP Package") it fills out quite nicely. I have posted a WTB ad here, hoping to find some Better grips.

They remind me allot of a sig 220 even down to the grip size.

THANKS Again For The Reply!

And Love to hear more about them! And if they are acurate?

I had one in stainless with factory night sights. It was very nice, shot well, plenty accurate and reliable. I traded it for something else in a moment of weakness and wish I had kept it. You can get rosewood grips from Taurus that I believe are the same dimensions as the pearl grips your friend has. These do fill out the grip a bit and make it feel more full. Here is a pic of the one I had.

Great Picture!

Rod: Great Pic! Yep! Thats Mines Twin.

And I also wonder does Hogue make Grips For It?

Or any one else such as Ajax or Eagle?

And Just wondering? Is the PT945 still in production? Is it a Current Listed Item?

THANKS AGAIN GUYS For The Replies!
