I'm looking at replacing the gas block on my ar. Nothing wrong with it it's just the standard a2 sight post and I want to get rid of it due to my eotech and get flip up sights instead for back ups. My question is, how do I know of the gas block is a quality one, and what makes it better quality than others? Thanks guys!

4 rails?

Mmmmmm?

Why do you need 4 rails that far out on the barrel?

Can't use it for a bipod because of barrel flex.
Can't use it for a hand grip for the same reason + you can't reach it.

So how many lights & sights you gonna put on it?

my thought was light on one side laser on the other back up front sight on top and bipod on the bottom, i forgot about the barrel flex problem lol

My inclanation would be to go with a 2-rail gas block

Sight on top.
Combo laser / TAC light you can reach the controls on with one hand.

And a duel sling stud set-up on the forearm for a sling & a bi-pod if you have to have one for some reason?

You will end up with a gun you can lift.
And operate the lights & sights with your off hand.
