Toku, good point about workbenches, tools, etc. That's hardwood.
And yeah, I hear you re 'squiters. They can drive one crazy. I can only imagine what they're like on the tundra...er, rather prefer not to imagine it.
(Worst biting insects I ever encountered were: 1) blackflies in Maine and 2) punkies or "no-see-ums" in Florida. Shhhhhheeeeessssshhhhhh. Put up the deet, full body netting required.
