The receiver is marked as 5.56mm NATO but I know that the RRA NMA4 is actually the .223 Wylde chamber. So, is there anything on the gun to identify this?

From rock river arms web site:
"The .223 Wylde chamber was designed as a match chamber for semi-automatic rifles. It will accommodate both .223 Rem and 5.56mm NATO ammunition. It is relieved in the case body to aid in extraction and features a shorter throat for improved accuracy."

I can see why they would put the 5.56 specification on the receiver to aid in ammunition selection. I'd just like to know if somewhere on the gun it would identify the true chamber of the gun.

Thanks.

The only other likely place the chambering would be marked would be somewhere on the barrel. However, if the rifle is a NM model then there's a good chance it has a free float tube installed and that's covering it up.
