I currently own two Mark V's at this time and its getting to be time to buy my 13 year old son a new rifle. I know that the Mark V's are free bored, but are the vanguards chambered in weatherby calibers also free bored? I would like to buy him a Mark V but times are getting a little rough and the $500.00 savings would help out a lot. I would let him have one of mine, But i think the 300 & the 340 would be a bit much for him right now. Anybody that may know this Please help.
