Did y'all notice the 4 digit serial number on that ROA ?
DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Yeah, I'll brag.
My 5-1/2" S.S. fixed sight ROA is serial number 66 .
Bought it from a Ruger collector who got it from the guy who has the subscription for every Ruger made with the serial number " 66 " .

I looked at Belt Mountains site and it says they're still working on the ROA latch. Anyone have info when it will be released?

I've got to wonder if this new product "quick change latch" for an ROA with the Belt Mountain base pin is only intended for the "Kieth"-style base pin, or can I expect to have to modify my "knurled" style Belt Mountain base pin to find that it is effective?
Would the use of this new device preclude the need to mill a divot in the underside of my ROA's barrel to anchor the base pin with the set screw that is integral to the "Kieth" pin?

I got sumthin like that from Kirst for my 58 Remmie conversion with 3inch barrel..
Its a spring loaded hook that replaces the loading leaver and retains the cylinder pin.
Makes it easy to remove the cylinder to reload my R&D 45colt cylinder.

Hunter 58 thanks for posting the link and info. I do plan to get one. I don't have a cartridge conversion yet, that comes a bit later on but I plan to shoot the Ruger ROA in a match or two this fall and should help my fumblefingerness during the reloads.

They have a note in the kit's description that says they'll machine a slot in the old style knurled base pin for $10 +$2 postage.

That was the first thing I thought when I saw it, too.
