Quick Q about optics mounting on FALs...

Does routine maintenance/field stripping of a FAL require removal of most standard receiver scope mounts, and if so, does this present a problem with loss of zero given a quality mount like DSA and quality optics like Nightforce or Trijicon?

I've never had to take my DSA mount off while field cleaning. Just hinge it open and pull out the bolt.
