I wouldn't.
The .444 Marlin is not just a lengthened .44 Magnum, the case has some taper which means the chamber would be oversize for a .44 Mag. Not like Specials in a Magnum.
The 444 Marlin is based off a highly modified 30-06 case so sadly, asmentioned above, the answer is no. You will trash the case and have a good chance of case failure.
