A family member has a R. H. Hoyt Black leather basket weave holster Left Hand Draw. It appears to fit the "normal" Police type belt.
The back is marked

I believe in was made sometime the early/middle 1960s. ??
It has molded recesses inside for the revolvers cylinder.
It is open in the back and appears to have a piece of spring steel to help hold the revolver in.
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the history of these holsters.
Any possible collector value?
I am right handed so it is the wrong hand for me.
(will add pictures after my camera batteries charge)
Thanks in advance for any info you might have.
