100% lifetime transferable warranty.

MPI tested bolts, $499 for a complete rifle. Sounds good, I just don't want to be the guinea pig. Not if I can build a rifle from PSA for less. But, owner reviews seem scarce, so only time will tell.

Atlantic is sold out at the moment.

Honestly, I think I'm going to get one of these the next time they're in stock. I've been wanting a Stag Arms Model 3, but this is a fraction of the price for the same configuration. I can't afford the Stag, but this is within my budget.

If you do, try and post a range report/review.

I know that if things are too good to be true they usually are, but for $499, if it has those features AND it runs, then Atlantic wont keep them in stock!!;

Good luck with your purchase. Hope you find one.

Check the warranty ,see if it covers shipping back for repairs? Freind bought a Hi Point carbine 9mm to save money, lifetime warranty, cost him $100 for shipping for 4 times to go back for repairs.

I just picked up my Stag 3T $1100 bucks ,the 3T comes with 13.5 Diamondhead VRS-T handguard,Diamondhead metal sights and a Magpul ACS stock with cool storage for batteries etc. I own the 3 Stag guns, the 3T,the 9T and the model 6 Super Varminter. Never had an issue with Model 6 or 9T so the 3T was a no brainer. The Diamondhead VRS-T 13.5 in ,Magpul ACS and Diamondhead sights alone will set ya back $450.

Well, AIM got it back in stock and I ordered one. I'll let you know once I get it to the range. Need to order a left-handed safety from Stag (only $15) but other than that I should be good.

Good thing about ARs is, parts are cheap and plentiful. So, even a major upgrade such as better bolt, gas rings, buffer tube/spring/buffer, heck ANYTHING can be fixed if need be cheaper than the shipping and aggravation in using warranty work for minutia. Aggravation is expensive.

Hi Point carbines use a lot of proprietary parts, and while they're in my top 3 PCCs, you're stuck sending it to MOM whenever it wont play nice. Nature of the beast.

Fortunately, the few reviews I've managed to find on their products, and their customer service, have been very good. The consensus seems to be that their stuff is well-made and put together, and reliable as well. Definitely not junk quality. I've seen bad AR's before; some guys were shooting 3 identical junkers at the range, and they all had trigger group problems and were very inaccurate. I outshot them with my AK.

I owned a 458 socom upper of theirs. It shot great.

Just looked at their prices. They have gone up significantly. about 33% or so from when i bought 8 months ago. Would still purchase from them again though

I really look forward to the range report and review. I live about 30 minutes from Radical, would be nice to have a high value manufacturer nearby.

I just accepted delivery of the 16" 5.56 FGS12 upper. My only regret is that I didnt order two. For the money ($199), I can think of no better upper made. Fit/finish is great, feed ramps line up as well as my BCM's have, the rail feels sturdy (very little flex when torquing on it) and the barrel appears to be well finished. I'm slapping a S&W M&P4 BCG (yes, M&P4 machine gun bcg) in it and I'll report back on how it runs. Looks damn good.

I'll hopefully be picking it up this afternoon. I need to get some sights for it, though, as it doesn't come with any. I'm going to get some Ultimate Arms flip-up iron sights. They're cheap, but they'll do the job until I get a red dot or scope on it. Backup iron sights don't have to be expensive to do the job, as long as they hold zero and stay up under recoil. They get good reviews overall, with only one complaint, and I think the guy in question didn't think to tighten the screw.

Fit and finish, very nice. Feels great in the hands. Ordered the Ultimate Arms sights and a left-handed safety from Stag, as well as a case of PMC Bronze .223. Can't go wrong with PMC ammo, and I figure I better stock up before the next panic hits. Both it and my Saiga .223 will be in fine form. Maybe next month I'll see about switching over to an A2 stock and a PK-A red dot.

Update: Range report.

Took it to the NRA range today to get it sighted in. I only shot it out to 33 yards, but I can tell it's quite accurate / consistent. I put 60 rounds through it, with zero malfunctions of any kind.

Now, I'll be the first to admit, I SUCK with unmagnified optics, and even more while standing and shooting. I need to get myself some glasses. But I can tell it's a fine rifle. The $40 flip up iron sights I bought did their job well, proving you don't need to spend a ton of money for something so simple.

Future steps will be to get an A2 buttstock and a better compensator. The recoil of an AR15 with the mil-spec muzzle device is a bit more than I expected; certainly more than on my Saiga .223. Not heavy, mind you (I was also shooting my Finn M39), but I'd like it to be a bit less disruptive to my aim.
