Going to get a railed 1911 this year. Curious what the consensus is. These are all in the same price range so that's what I'm aiming for.
stupid answer is stupid
My other hand is on my cell phone, car keys, ushering children, turning door knobs, opening car doors, etc.I don't like lights on guns, if you need light to see what's out there, you sure shouldn't be pointing a loaded gun at it without knowing what it is!

So why post in this thread? I'm sure there's something better you could be doing with your time. Perhaps start a thread discussing WML's vs. handheld?I don't like lights on guns, if you need light to see what's out there, you sure shouldn't be pointing a loaded gun at it without knowing what it is!

There are many holsters available for railed 1911's with or with a light attached. Like it or not, railed pistols are here to stay.I would buy one without a rail personally unless you have a specific use for the rail. It complicates holster purchasing a heckuva lot

I owned a Colt rail gun. Edges were too sharp, finish got marked up easily and made it very prone to rust (stainless version)
