sounds like you went to Targetmaster. In that case, you've probably met the owner, Tommy .
They don't like you shooting blazers because they can't pick up and sell the casings. They don't like you shooting white box because tommy doesn't like loosing ammo sales to wal mart.
Targetmaster is also one of the many places where i have got crap for being an 18 year old pistol shooter and have been kicked off their range more than once for that reason, despite the fact that i had a membership. They claimed that it wasn't legal or some such crap.
My advice to you. Take I95 north to Marcus Hook (Market Street Exit). Take a right and go untill you hit tenth street. Take a left. Take an immediate right after the train tracks. Welcom to the responsible shooter. Not as big or fancy as targetmaster, but the owner isn't a nutcase like tommy. It's owned by David DiFabio, the guy who runs www.ammolab.com. He's done more training and knows more gun industry big names than you can imagine.
