I and others have found that the AMERC case wall thickness to be thicker and as a result the diameter of the finished round is so large that the slide on my Colt Combat Commander wouldn't go to full battery. I've seen similar complaints by others.

Oh! Never had that problem, and no I do not use a FCD to post size my ammo.

Maybe my Ed Brown match barrel has a loose chamber?

Neh, don't think so.

Regarding Amerc Brass especially .45 ACP caliber.

Question, why not reload it?

The one time I tried it in a match grade barrel (accidentally) it wouldn't chamber.

45 Brass only

I may not have made it clear but I pay $30/1000 for 45 brass. The individual has sorted out everything else including all AL cases so it is only brass. It is a combo of large and small primer. I shoot factory Federal w/small primers and do not have any issue with them so I don't see a problem with the reloads as well.
