I own one of the original Ruger LC9 pistols,,,
This is one of my favorite handguns.

I like it so well that six or seven months ago,,,
I purchased a Twisted Industries .22 adapter kit for it.

I took her out for a spin as soon as I received it,,,
I ran a quick 50 rounds as a test,,,
It functioned flawlessly.

This is the first time I have gotten to really put it through it's paces,,,
I fired 250 rounds through it yesterday after work,,,
CCI Mini Mags, Federal, and Remington.

The little shooter performed extremely well,,,
I had one stovepipe the entire session.

This is a fine product,,,
A bit pricey but worth it to me.

Anyone else have one of their products?

P.S. Don't laugh at my Lilac pistol,,,
Because it can "convert" from .22 to 9mm,,,
I'm thinking of changing her name from Ruth to Bruce.

You know I do. I need to get a couple more magazines from TI. I've been putting that off, but need to order at least 2 extras. I ordered the threaded barrel a while back. Shooting it suppressed makes a great conversion even better. I wonder if you and I are the only two that own this conversion? I saw a kit for sale a while back on my local Armslist. Its actually pretty unique, because there aren't many DAO 22 pistols...

I don't like the threaded adapter that TI sells. Its aluminum, and doesnt have much shoulder for the suppressor to register against. Eric at EWK Arms will make me a steel adapter with a bigger shoulder. I need to get the barrel to him, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I bought mine based on the positive comments from owners of the TI Kel-Tec conversion kits. Those came out first, and seemed to run well. Im a Ruger Fanboy, and have an addiction to 22 handguns in general, so when the LC9-22 conversion was announced, I was all in.

Mine has run well, I dont remember a malfunction of any kind. The conversion makes a very lightweight DAO 22 pistol. I actually have a dedicated LC9 frame that my TI conversion rests upon. I have not shot the pistol for any type of distance accuracy, but its deadly for pop cans when plinking at 15-20 yards. I had to adjust my rear sight slightly, out of the box. I can load 12 rounds into my magazine, but the mag wont fit into the gun with a closed slide, and 12 rounds.

I noticed your slide is marked LC-22LR and mine is marked LC9-22LR. That is probably because the TI conversion also works on the Ruger LC380 pistol. The LC380 wasn't available when I bought my conversion.

I kept in touch with TI and was on a list for notification when the first actual commercial kits were available(Not the Beta Kits). I ordered my conversion within minutes of receiving the email. My kit is serial 001.

I mentioned Im not real happy with the thread adapter that TI sells for the threaded barrel. Its aluminum, and fairly soft. You can see that the flats are rounded off on the hex. I looked at all the steel thread adapters I had for other applications, but didnt find a match. What I did find was the thread adapter for my Twin Tech Tactical threaded barrel for the Ruger SR22P is the same barrel thread. Its a stainless adapter. Its not threaded all the way through, like the TI adapter is, so it bottoms out too shallow, and doesnt meet the thread shoulder on the barrel. I didnt want to take a chance that it wouldnt be concentric to the bore, and result in an expensive baffle strike. Talking to TI before the threaded barrels were available, they mentioned the "barrel maker", indicating to me that TI doesnt make the barrels. I wonder if TTT is the barrel maker... ? My TTT threaded barrel that I installed in my Ruger SR22P is much more accurate than my factory Ruger SR22P barrel.

I wonder,,,

I wonder if they will make an adaptor for the LC9s.

When Ruger stopped production of the LC9,,,
I also wondered if Twisted Industries would get stuck with old inventory?
