+1 on the Midway bag. Big, well made, lots of pockets (including one for a water bottle), convenient pull-out inner-bag for smaller outings, very reasonably priced.

I've got a midway bag. Its great. Had it loaded with a few thousand rounds of various ammo for a shooting trip this week. Help up just fine as expected. This bag feels like it weighs in at 10lbs empty. Definitely good construction for the price.

Again +1 on the Midway. I bought it as my first bag and got lucky that it was such a great item. It's actually 2 bags in one, since it has the smaller inner bag that can be pulled out. It fits inside the bigger bag in a way that makes it seem like it's not even a separate unit. The small one is great for 2 guns and all your other accessories. If you plan on taking more than 2 guns, you just use the whole bag, and its got a lot of room in a compact enough package.

i use an uncle mikes range bag it has worked great for years and years, i carry my handguns in the UTG cases form Cheaperthandirt, they hold 2 guns, 6 mags and have a flap on the outside front for more stuff. they are inexpensive but they are very nice, as a matter of fact u have 2.

My wife bought me a Range Bag from LL Bean. They have a large & a small.
