2B220D3A-E395-4F40-88DE-15EC710DC61B.jpeg First day at the range since winter yesterday. Apparently there were a few hardier souls than I out in the cold.
When we were done shooting I walked around with my brass picker upper and harvested 260 brass .45acp cases, 480 brass 9mm cases, and a couple handfuls of .38sp and .40 cases.
I left probably that many again because I was too lazy to dig them out of the sand. Next time I think I’ll bring a small hard rake.
Not a bad haul for a lazy day.

Good score!!

I had gone through a pretty bad drought at my range for months on end. People just weren't shooting as much, plus lots of club members reload. But, just on the past 2 weekends I have gotten a bonanza:

650 .223/5.56
120 .300 BO
60 7.62x39
60. .308
25. 6.5 CM
1100 9mm
125 .45 ACP

Flip side of that coin was picking up all of that brass only left me about 30 min of shooting time before my kitchen pass ran out....

I was out a couple weeks ago and found a little over a hundred 5.56 cases, 20 pristine .308 cases and a handful of Bushmaster 450 cases that I have no use for. I'm trimming that 5.56 now.

Well I have been known to plan a trip so that I would be passing by known shooting spots/pits to specifically scrounge for spent brass. Heck I even pick up .22 brass. That stuff will add up and bring in cash when recycled. I use found brass or swap for what I can use with other reloaders. Looks like you made out well there OP.
