This little bugger managed to become my favorite gun of all time without any effort whatsoever..

Today's range trip consisted of 300rds of monarch FMJ, and I'm proud to report 0 malfunctions of any type. The guy next to me was shooting an AK, and I didn't even think about mine, all I cared about was my compact going bang bang bang and nothing but.

Shoots pretty low, though.. I wonder if a lighter bullet would suit these sights better? I've never fired anything but 230gr rounds out of any 45 except for one magazine of some old handloads my friend had made.

I believe, however, that grinding roughly half of the front sight off would probably make it acceptable.

To note, though, the groups I was managing, albeit considerably lower than where I aimed, were amazingly tight.

Also, I'd love to know exactly why it is that this little compact is sooo much more controllable than my colt. With the colt, double taps are kinda tricky to pull off with any accuracy, but with the crusader it's really not an issue. Pull the trigger as fast as I can, and the sights magically align every time it seems. It doesn't kick my grip loose when I fire, even with stout loads, no shifting or wiggle. Freakin outstandingly comfy, and a dream to shoot.

Why? It's not much lighter than my colt, everything's smaller of course, but that seems like it'd make it harder? I don't get it.
