Well, I took my new 12GA to the range today to evaluate it and here is what i found out.
50 rounds of 2 3/4" Winchester 7 1/2 shot. No fail to feeds/fail to fires.
sight on front of barrel seems bent to left, resulting in it not shooting to point of aim, however i am thinking of taking that sight off and putting on a true glo sight anyway, so may be no big deal.
definately needs a recoil pad though. I have shot other shotguns, many rifles (.270, .308, .30-06, etc) and never bruised my shoulder. this one tenderized me a little bit. i am not stiff or bruised, but tenderized, and not what i am used to with other similar guns.
that being said, i have heard the reviews of CD shot guns and that they are pretty hit or miss. Mine seems as reliable as my cousins Winchester 1300 Defender, however I only have 50 rounds through it, so we will have to see.
but for 240 out the door, i dont think it is too bad. especially considering the lifetime warranty.
I will keep everyone updated as to what I find out.
