Took my brand new SA Combat Blacken SS to the range last night. I probably should have given it a good cleaning before going instead of just wiping it down. It failed to go into battery so many times I lost count. I got tired of smacking the back of the slide. The bump on the grip safety caused a blister on my hand. I think the extractor is a little out of whack cause I kept getting hit in the head. Did you know that when a hot piece of brass falls between your glasses and your eye it burns like he##. I also found out that the magazine that was thrown in for free is junk. Which brings me to another question. Who makes good mags for the SA. On the up side, the gun shoots alot better than I do. When I used the table in front of me as a rest, I could easily shoot 2" groups. I brought it home and gave it a good cleaning and going back to the range again before I complain to SA. It may have just been the factory lube that caused the problem. I don't understand though, I paid 500.00 for a SA XD45 and 660.00 for a HK USPc 45, both NIB and neither one ever hiccupped once. For 800.00 you would expect at least the same or better. Ran a little over 300 rds.
