Ranges/gunshops in Destin FL?

Greetings all

I will be visiting my daughter in Destin FL in a few weeks. Her 21st birthday is coming up, and she has asked for a handgun. I will create a separate post asking some details about that. Does anyone here know of any gunshops or shooting ranges in the Destin area? It does not have to be downtown Destin, anywhere within 50 miles or so would be acceptable. Destin is only a convenient point of reference (and the largest municipality near her). She grew up shooting various guns here in PA, but it is time for some refresher practice before she gets her own bang stick.

Theres a gun range out in Crestview. Theres also an indoor range in Fort Walton.

Thanks Pilman. I am assuming you mean Ft Walton Beach, or is there a Ft Walton right next door? I put Ft Walton into Yahoo maps and got someplace almost to Miami! DO you have any more info on that indoor range? Address, hours, how they treat people? Can you rent a gun there? Do they sell them?

No it's fort walton beach near destin lol

I believe they do rent at the outdoor range, not sure about the indoor range never been there myself.

Thanks again. Using your pointers, I did some yellow page searching. I just got off the phone with a couple of places, but the range isn't one of them. Their number is disconnected, and the other guy I talked to said he thought they had recently closed. He also mentioned the place in Crestview though. Have you ever been there?
