I will be relocating to Montgomery, AL soon and could use some recommendations on where to shoot both rifle and pistol. I am hoping to keep it within 20-30 minutes of Montgomery. Obviously closer=better.
Things I am looking for in a handgun range:
- 25 yards minimum
- allows the use of humanoid targets
- allows drawing and firing from the holster
- allows rapid fire (no 1 shot per second rule)
- allows the engagement of multiple targets (no lanes)
- allows shooting on the move
- ability to shoot in low-light/with gas mask a plus but not a deal breaker
- indoor range preferred
Things I am looking for in a rifle range:
- 50 yards minimum
- allows the engagement of multiple targets (no lanes)
- allows shooting on the move
- ability to shoot in low-light/with gas mask a plus but not a deal breaker
I am currently not interested in participating in any IPSC/IDPA/CMP matches. However, if your club has a range that I can use, please let me know.
If you know of a range or ranges that can support my needs please let me know. Thanks for the help.
