Rape Prevention: Two Options

That is very well put together. Makes the point quickly and "cleanly."

I like the idea, but it is unrealistic. We all know there is no such thing a a warning shot. Realistically, I think the rapist would keep running at her since he was almost there, and the odds of her dropping him are unlikely. I don't think she could have got the gun out in time, anyway. I know I'm being unecessarily critical, but when it comes to guns accuracy is important in everything. :)

Also, she shouldn't have shouted a warning, just shot at him. He is obviously up to no good, wearing a ski mask and running at her like that. She is not police, and does not need to worry about his rights, just her own.

Remember the Four Rules.
Specifically:
DO NOT POINT A GUN AT ANYTHING YOU DO NOT WISH TO DESTROY.

If you feel the need to pull it, then you obviously need to use it.
