Up until a few days ago, a Liberator .45 ACP pistol from WW II. After that... an 1831 Harper's Ferry m/l w/ period (1840's?) percussion conversion from flintlock, an old Trapdoor .45-7; or an 1882 manufacture Colt Frontier Six Shooter .44-40, nickel plated w/ 7 1/2" bbl. Sorry I have no pics yet...

The rarest gun I have had pass through my hands is a Colt Rainmaker. Not a lightning, not a thunderer, a rainmaker. It is the .32 counterpart to the afore mentioned Colt Double actions. Bought it, and sold it. Estimated 2-300 ever made, most have never seen one.

I have a 1922 (first issue) Colt Police Positive Special with a 6'' barrel and have never seen another one with 6'' bbl in person at any gun shows or on gunbroker last time I checked.

A beautiful .257 Roberts rifle by Ranger Arms out of Gainesville, Texas. I've done some research and cannot find a rifle like mine anywhere.

Springfield model 1846 dated 1853/55 with long-range sights and cut down to 38'' bbl for civil war usage, also may have rifled barrel. Haven't ever seen one like it.

An S/42 Luger dated 1940, very late model and haven't seen an S/42 with a '40 date.

Remington nylon 66. My Great Grand Father got it in a box completely disassembled and was the last gun i remember him getting. He put it back together and i got to shoot it. Two years after he past my Great Grand Mother gave it to me.. Not rare to most but is my most valuable to me..

Minty original finish 1941 Russian Tok. No import marks either.

I own own a rifle that is absolutely one of a kind. It's a Winchester model 1892 with Freddie Mercury's signature on the stock. He inscribed it "To the fighting flyer of my life, Freddie loves you". I also have a photograph of him signing it and one of me standing next to Freddie holding the gun aboard a Gulfstream IV. That rifle was signed at 33,000 ft.

Take fives minutes t watch my departed friend.

You are a lucky man to have a rifle signed by Freddie Mercury...the best singer/songwriter/entertainer of our times. :D

I have a lowly, less than 1k made polytech hunter sks. Unfired and very nicely made, with a trigger that is so smooooth!

S&W 942, Custom made from a 642 with a 940 cylinder installed, I wish I could have had a 9mm 3" barrel for a 940 installed.
S&W 65 round grip with a 4" standard(skinny or pencil) barrel from a model 64 installed.
S&W never made a 357 with a standard or pencil barrel.
S&W made 2 942s

Several years ago I had a Walther's 6mm pistol that an expert told me the history of, it was issued to either the Gestop or SS officers only. On the right side of slide was a milling to remove the marking, which I was told that was done to most war souvenirs to remove the Nazi markings. Should have kept it!! Last week I picked up a beautiful 1861 Colt revolver, this one is earmarked to go to my 11 yr old grandson.

Winchester Model 22, 12 ga SXS. They were made by Laurona in Spain for Winchester International for sale in Europe. They were only made in 1975 and are seldom seen in the US. I purchased mine in Nurenberg, Germany in 1977. When found in the US they sell for around $1500 to $2000 if in very good condition.

Doesn't even come close to some the other beauties in this thread.
But, it's the rarest I own & my favorite revolver.
Smith & Wessom Model 624ND Lew Horton Special w/ 3" barrel, Executioner Elk Stag grips, & Tyler T-Grip adapter. Only 5,000 of these .44Spl. revolvers were manufactured in 1985

Or how about my favorite iron sighted rimfire rifle?
A MAS45 .22lr Military Trainer. Built in 1947 by the French but manufactured with Mauser tooling. I got this one untouched by human hands, still covered in cosmoline, and wrapped with wax paper.
Sorry about the pics - am still final cleaning the nasty cosmoline off. When I shoot it & it warms up, the grease starts flowing out of it.
