Rate: Good to Best - CZ, Savage, Ruger 22lr Bolt Action

I shoot in competition. Cz and Tikka are the only ones I would consider. Between them I think it depends on the individual rifle, ammo and shooter. I do have a Ruger American that shoots well. It also depends on how well you shoot.
Since you want a wood stock, CZ is really your only choice in my opinion.

Czeska Zubrowka makes a fine bolt action clip fed .22. Only thing I don't like about mine is the barrel is very long (25") which makes t cumbersome for a field type gun.
