I was wondering if anybody has used the RCBS lube die. I am getting reading to buy my dies to load 223 and was wondering if this die was any good and worth buying.

Rusty: They do work but can be a PIA to use. Buy a good brand name spray lube, follow directions(and let dry throughly) and proceed to load. I load large quantities for my AR15 and this procedure works great for me. Don't waste your money on a lube die.

I really LOVE mine. No PITA here. I put it in the first spot of my progressive, put the resize die in the second spot and go to town. Its even better if you have a case feeder and then they go right into a spin cycle with the crushed walnut. Makes resizing this way as easy as resizing 9mm on a carbide die and I cant stand the fumes from One Shot..it always gives me a headache. No fumes with the lube die.

Case Lube-2

I use rcbs case lube -2

Works good.

On my 1967 pad. Which has some splits in it.

I need to get the #2 next for 243. I havent looked to see which one I will need for my 7mm and 8mm mausers but I'm assuming #3. And I will gladly spend the money for them.
