I didn't realize it was a download. But congrats. That looks like a must have & at a bargain price.

I have one of these primer catchers and they work GREAT!!
I have the plastic tube run into a plastic coffee can and put a lid on the can when done sizing/depriming brass.

Thanks for reminding me. I had some how forgot about the Hand loader Magazine. I must renew my subscription. Thanks with my fading memory I need the help.:D

I use electrical tape; I rap the tape around my primer catcher tight enough to close the gaps in the center and that is it. Black electrical tape looks good on the Green RCBS Rock Chucker. About two years ago my wife found some green 3M electrical tape that looks better.

I was at the Newark Airport being searched for what ever reason when I noticed 3 passengers being pulled out of the line for additional searches, I knew they were from India so I got into line with them. We were instructed to remove out shoes so I complied, one of the inspectors ask me what were all of the little shines 'Os" embedded into my shoes were. I told him the little metal rings in my shoes were knobblies for grim on ice and snow.

Here's the decapping rig I made using an RCBS Partner Press, metal tube in the ram to guide them out easily with minimal residue mess, PVC pipe to fit close against the ram then into a pill bottle. Mounted on 3/4 inch particle board that clamped to the bench wherever:

This is how the one for the RC 2 press looks like:

I have the German's primer catcher. It works great.and is worth the price.

The only question I have is for RCBS. You have an excellent single stage press with this one flaw. How come you haven't altered the design of your catcher to avoid after market products that make life a whole lot easier?

I agree. I bought one of these primer catchers and it really completes the package. No more old primers stuck to my shoes or aching back from picking them up off the floor. Should be a cheap addition for RCBS. Worth every penny.

Should be easy to build something similar that clips on or has a threaded locking device. I haven’t gone any further with it because it works as is. Used an iPhone box.
