I recently purchased an RCBS Power Case Trimmer along with a three way cutting head. I have been trimming 204 cases and have been having trouble with the consistency of the length. Some times it trims exactly to the desired length (1.840) and other times it comes up a little short. I don't know exactly how long to leave the case in the trimmer, but if I put it back in after checking the length and determining that it is still too long, I usually find it comes up short the second try. Is there some trick to the fine adjustment? I have noted in other posts that they are very pleased with the exactness of the trimmer.
Thanks

I've been using the RCBS Trim Pro for a few years now and have found it to be VERY accurate. It only takes a few seconds to trim a case. You set up the trimmer with the coarse and fine stops and there's no way to cut the case too short if you set the stops up properly.

Have you read the instructions that come with the trimmer?
