Don't take this as RCBS bashing.I own several RCBS products, presses, dies, powder measure, case lube pad, neck brushes, ect. They are great products and they stand behind them. They have replaced items for me on things when I was not the original purchaser.BUT the idea that thay have do that under their warranty is a misconception.Their warranty is for the ORIGINAL purchaser. Their willingness to do it for anyone else is customer relations. Here is the link to their warranty on their website.

You mention RCBS has replaced parts for you even when you weren't the original owner, they have done the same for me. What is the purpose of your post if you're happy with them? It seems like they've gone above and beyond.

I just meant to explain that they are not OBLIGATED to repair second hand equipment. Some are telling that the warranty is good even on those.

Ive had to replace probably 100+ individual parts over 10+ shipments and never had a problem. It was my fathers press and I was really just getting spare parts for the majority of it, and they never even gave me a hint of trouble. They don't ask if it was your press or not. The wording of their contract is obviously leaving the door open to close the current policy, but until then I will continue to use their presses and take advantage of their excellent customer service. One of my presses is a progressive from the early mid-90's (not produced now, but parts are very close to a generic autoloader), and they even went into the warehouse and measured the part I needed to make sure it was the correct size, how can I complain about that kind of support.
