I noticed on two different VH1 shows where gun use wasn't portrayed as odd or silly but as something fun to do an way to bond/get closer.
The first was on Hogan Knows Best sometime last year where he took his son to the range to shoot his fully auto M16 etc.
The other was this past weekend my wife got hooked on the Brett Michael's Rock of Love show and he took his dates to a gun range to go shooting.
Yeah I am guilty of watching mindless crap on TV, but I still think it is interesting to see firearms shown in this light.
Usually I have to watch discovery, history channel, military channel or the outdoor channel to see firearms treated as something other than only a bad guy or LEO item.
