I have a Glock model 22 on which the rear sight moves within the rear sight grove with minimal pressure. I have never had this problem with any Glocks or this Glock firearm itself. I first noticed the rear sight move when I was putting my shooting gear in my trunk and the Glock slid out of its case and landed near the edge of the trunk, it only fell two to four inches and did not land on the sight. I noticed right away the sight was off to the right of center and when I put little pressure on it to the left it moved very easy. Do I need to get the rear sight replaced or can it be fixed with a rear sight mounting tool?

No, but it can be fixed with a couple of drops of Blue Loc-Tite.
Take it clear off, degrease everything with rubbing alcohol, apply Loc-Tite, and put it back on.

But, Glocks plastic sights are notorious for getting loose with use.
Especially the front sight.

The best fix is a set of new steel after-market sights.
It's an especially good excuse to put on Meprolite or Trijicon night sights and be done with it for 12-15 years.

I have been looking for a excuse to put some night sights on the gun and I guess this is good excuse to do so. I do not understand why Glock makes such a durable weapon but puts plastic sights on. Thanks for the help
