Recently seen NEW gun prices

I recently made the rounds of a few brick/mortar places that sold handguns.

This in the Denver Co area. Here's what I saw....all "new" prices, and I'm listing the BEST price that I saw.

Ruger SP101 3" .357 SS (KSP 331x) $339
Ruger GP100 6" .357 SS (KGP 161) $459
Ruger GP100 4" .357 SS (KGP 141) $459
S & W 686 4"? .357 SS $529

I had hoped to be able to do a "touchy-feely" on a GP100 3"......but those critters seem to be scarce, at least in Colorado. I've yet to _EVER_ handle one......or even see one!!

Interesting prices you posted there. The only 3" GP100 I've handled or seen was a used one at a Crossroads show here in Denver, the seller wanted $519 for it, and wouldn't budge on price. I passed, but I did pick up a 4" GP100 in great shape (from another table!) for $325 OTD.

Mosy on over to Ks I just picked up a new gp 100 4" for $299!

I know for a fact that the local Gander Mtn. wants $110 more than that for the 686+.

About the same prices around here. $389 for Sp101, the rest seem about right.

i just bought a used S&W 586 6" .357 in excellent condition for $365.

didn't shop around much. would you consider this high, low, about right?

To me that seems quite low. Maybe about a $100 low in excellent condition. On the other hand, guns are expensive around here.

$529 for a NIB 6-shot model 686 S&W is below what I can sell one for~!
