Make your own Bore Butter:

1 Part Beeswax and 5 Parts Extra Virgin Olive Oil

You have me curious. I had always thought that the only material difference between Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Just Olive Oil was the flavor. EVOO is much higher priced, do you think the performance as a lube is significantly better than just "Olive Oil"?

Hmmm, I dunno. Never did a comparison between the two. However, I do buy the cheapest kind, which is usually Goya or Badia or just liberate some from the cupboard when the wife isn't lookin'!

After making some up, we pour it into those little 4 and 8 oz jars that minced garlic comes in. It lasts a long time.
