I'm thinking some people just aren't cut-out for shooting....Or, stick to the minor calibers...To use a worn-out expression, "A solution to a non-existent problem".
I have both the Sprinco Recoil Reducers, www.sprinco.com, and the Shock Buff's in several of my different pistols. The Sprinco does reduce the felt recoil and does away with battering of the slide and frame. The Shock Buff just reduces the battering issues.
I use the Sprinco for full power 10mm and 9x25 Dillon loads. I also have one in my Colt for shooting .400 Cor-bon, which solved some battering problems. Those calibers produce some vicious slide velocities and are hard on pistols without some form of remediation. I stopped having broken slide stops when I installed the Sprinco units.
The Sprincos work, and they look similar to the DPM. They will not take a 230 gr +p and make it feel like a 185 gr bullseye load, but they do help. What exactly are you trying to do?

Atta' boy, way to take the High Road. Every thread about recoil reduction has at least one dude that can't see past their own needs, and now the quota has been met. Thank God everbody doesn't have to adhere to your view of the world, it might be rather crowded in such a narrow place.
