Just purchased a new Pt-140 and noticed that the larger recoil spring was installed at the factory with the open end forward. I would think that the closed and flat side would face the front. I noticed that on reassembly that the open end got stuck in the recoil spring hole. Any opinons on this issue? Second sping is flat on both ends. It appears that the larger spring is slightly smaller on the flat end. Thought on this? Nothing in the manual on installation on this spring.
