Howdy, I've got some time in with w/ 1858 Navy and was thinking it's time to expand my collection a little bit. I'm currently browsing around for a good flinter pistol. Duelling pistols have always fascinated me, and I was thinking something along those lines would be a neat a piece to own.
With that in mind I also know that something like that may not be the best starting point. I'm perfectly willing to go with a different type or style of flint locker pistol until I'm used too/comfortable with them. Eventually I'd like to build my own from a barrel and a lock, that's a ways down the road though. Ideally I'd like to spend less the $300-400 on the pistol and accesories. I've already got a powder flask, measure, etc. I would however need flints, a priming flask, and anything else unique to a flint lock.
Thanks,
