Recommend a gun belt!

Ive been using Wilderness belts since the 90's. Havent used a leather belt for daily wear since. Early on, when it was all they offered, it was their "Instructor" type, and then their "Frequent Flyer" belt when they came out. The FF has no metal in it and doesnt look as much like a "gun belt".

Both are infinitely adjustable through their size range, so its always comfortable and youre not trying to "hit a hole" should gain or lose a little from day to day.

I like the 1.75" wide belts the best, and the slightly stiffer "5 stitch" versions. I find they give the best support and are the most comfortable when there's some weight on them for long day wear. They do offer a couple of different widths and a number of different colors as well.
 
I would recommend a Beltman as well and I have actually worn one out as to be unusable. It if course it was the sizing holes giving way.

I suspect I am in the minority of folks who have done this but I have also worn out one of my own horse hide belts. The first one I made in fact.

Big caveat: I don’t maintain my belts at all. I have toxic salty sweat and these belts are subjected to that many days of the year here in the southeast.
 
I have been wearing the same belt for 11 years now from bullhidebelts.com, it is still just as good as it was when I first got it. Of course some discoloration with this amount of time being used, but thats all that would indicate a belt with this many miles on it.

I originally used bought their belt and I do find it good for certain handguns. As you wear them daily and over time they do get softer. I eventually opted for the kore belts because I had to make extra holes on the crossbreed belt, and crossbreed messed up when they did not align their holes with mine. Good belts though .
 
I got a cheap ratcheting belt for my birthday one year and got into using it around the house (work from home). I loved it and wore it out. When the time came to replace it, I found Anson belts. They're better quality, have a concealed carry version and tons of options.

Otherwise, Bullhide is very good. I have one of theirs in brown elephant.

I'm a big fan of leather when it comes to most things for toting a handgun but I've become very enamored with some nylon belts made by Mission "Elite" and Wolf "Tactical" (the belts appear to be identical in every respect). A few months ago, a THR member tipped us off to these belts being sold through Amazon @ six bucks a pop (it was reported that the belts were selling previously for $39.99). I bought several and I'm glad I did.
 
Mean Gene Leather makes an infinitely adjustable leather belt using an Aegis belt buckle. I have two such belts, and they are by far my favorites. My only complaint about them, even though they’re my favorites, is that they’re fairly thick, making threading holster slots difficult for a few of my holsters. But they hold up my 5” all-steel 1911 OWB better than my Beltman belts (which I also really like) and much better than my nylon/scuba-webbing belts.

1791 makes a great, strong leather gun belt. I have been using one at work 3-4 days per week, eight hours a day, for the last two and half years carrying a Ruger SR9C with a spare magazine. I often use it on my off days as well. No sagging at all.
 
I've been wearing a Crossbreed belt for over 10 years now, and I regularly use it with an IWB Glock 20. They have a nylon one now that was recently on sale for $15, but I haven't used one of those.

I'm on my second. uh, second in ... 12-15 years. Comes out to about $10-15 per year. No affiliation, ymmv, blahda blahda ...
