well i just picked up the Kahr CW9 and boy thin really is sexy...i didn't realize how thin this thing was and now i have a better understanding of how some folks "pocket carry" the smaller "PM" models.

so now i'm thinking i need a "different take" on a holster for it. i've carried everything from a Beretta 92, through the Glock 19 to a S&W 642...but i've usually utilized a paddle holster or an Alessi CQC/s or ACP. this Kahr is so thin that i'm thinking hat it deserves a holster that will carry it tighter to the body.

so i'm looking for suggestions from the membership...just a couple of requirements
1. must be OWB...old back injury precludes IWB wear
2. no retention other than fit
3. i usually carry with a few degrees cant...but this is small enough i might not need any
4. must be light weight and thin

just for a point of reference: i was originally looking at just using a Comp-tac Settable Cant and my 2nd thought was a Ken Null SMZ shoulder rig

thanks for sharing

How much do you want to spend, and how soon do you need it?

Safariland 567 (It rides a little low for my taste, but this is a short gun to start with.)

High Noon Bare Skin
(The custom leather one is called the "Topless.")

Galco shows the COP 3-slot and Quick Slide for this model. (I am not thrilled with three-slots myself.)

DeSantis shows the Speed Scabbard and Mini-Slide.

Then, of course, there are any number of custom makers, including Alessi.

I have a Galco Matrix holster that I use for my PM9; it comes with a detachable button snap that I usually leave undone or tucked behind my belt. It's meant for a Glock but it fits the Kahr perfectly.
