Recommendation's on a 1911 in 9mm

Metalform. They make plenty. 9's enough for me. Or, you can just buy 38 Super mags. That's what I use most often.

Ok everyone - thanks for the help! I picked up a Springer 9mm 1911 today - will shoot it tomorrow and post a report!
Now - who makes mags for these 9mm 1911's??? Is 9 the max capacity?

I just picked up the SA 1911 9mm target as well. Put two hundred rounds thru it yesterday. Not one hiccup. Love this gun.

Does using 38super mags increase capacity? Do you have a source for the Metal Forms?

When I first got mine I looked for extended mags and I was told that 2 companies were releasing 11 round mags last November. I do not know whether they are out yet or not.
+1 for the 9mm 1911 lovers. I'll have another one someday. It will forever be on the list of "Things I would have rather kept and sold organs instead". I can't find anyone that will trade me a perfectly good kidney for a nice arsenal.
