I've been reloading for a little bit now. I'm currently using a lee perfect powder measure on my rcbs press. I'm curious on some suggestions of what might be better? The lee works decent, but seems to vary the weights a LOT if I use the turret in a progressive fashion. I'm assuming its the vibration of turning the turret head that makes the first drop or 2 inaccurate. If I fill multiple rounds at a time, it seems very accurate. For the time being I have been weighing every drop which. It also tends to leak a little bit.

Anyone have suggestions on a powder measure that would be better mounted on a turret press? I was looking at the lee pro auto disk measure, but would like to hear from people with firsthand experience

What caliber are you loading for? I've loaded up to 30-30 size brass with my auto disk. Very very consistent. Another forum user was able to make a triple disk kit for even larger cases.

FYI, if you are using the Pro Auto Disk with double disk kit and want more capacity and flexiblility, you can double stack the Adjustable Charge Bars by filing the slide tabs of one and it will give you more powder charge adjustment options (see yellow arrows in the picture below). You do still need to use the 2 double-disk risers (AD2493) and 2 longer bolts (FD1471).
I metered up to around 47 grains of I4895/H4895/Varget and 48 grains of RL15 which are plenty for most popular .308 bullet weights and powder charges.

The pro is perfect for that. Love it oon my turret.

Was thinking though, I might try and set my PPM on my turret. If you drop the charge into the...throw chamber....before it goes around, the vibrations should settle the charge nice and even before throws. I like doing rifle single stage, but it'd be worth it to see if it works.

Got my Lee Pro today. Wow this thing works 100x better than the Lee PPM. So much more consistent weights! Thanks for the input everyone!
