Recommended scope rings

CZ 527 Varmint, Walnut, (.223 if that matters).
Mounting a 3x12x42SF Nikon Monarch.
Any recommendation on rings from those that have one or both of the above?

As much information as you are willing to put in, even if it is just the name, size. I know that CZ bolts have some issues with end bell clearance, and I don't want to do anything to the bolt. If you did use lower mounts and had to do bolt modifications, I would love to hear what you think and whether you feel it changed the handling of the bolt. If you have a good reason for why, I would like to hear.

Burris Signature Zee rings are the way to go imo. I've used others that are good, but the Burris ones are my favorites. If you for some reason won't go with those, I'd go with Warne rings.

Well first off, the 527 doesn't take standard Weaver rings. You are going to have to run 16mm rings. The CZ rings are good. Leupold rings are good. Burris rings are good. I had a 6-18x Buckmaster on mine and mediums were too low without bolt modification, but not by much. Another option would be 16mm to Weaver adapters. It would probably be how I would go if I were to do it again. I like the selection of Weaver rings a lot better than that of 16mm rings. Sure, a couple good ones are out there in 16mm, but why limit yourself. I also really like the Burris signature rings and being able to use them makes the adapter a good option.
